How do I remove paint (and possibly a clear coating on top of the paint) from a carbon fiber hood?

I bought it like this:


But I don't like the flames. Is there anything I can use to remove them without ruining my hood? And if not, would someone who likes the flames want to trade me their CF hood for this one? [8D]

 

I would try buffing them out with rubbing compound but go slow and be careful. another idea would be 1500 grit wet sand it first just be careful thats a nice hood.

 

Yeah nice vis evo hood I was going to get that one but want the invader hood or a srt4 hood instead and I love those flames .
