I own a 2001 Chrysler Neon with almost 180,000 Kilometers, and have had a couple of problems over the years, but nothing that stopped it from going anywhere it would take us. According to Consumer Reports the 2004/05Dodge SX 2.0 (thats what it's called in Canada) are on CR's reliable car list. So what do you think?
They are different in a few ways, but not so much that it would make it anymore or less reliable than any other 2nd Gen Neon...the 2000 model year is the big exception though.
No, its not all 2000...just many of the first run 2000 have transmission issues, electrical problems, 2" exhausts instead of 2.25", and just things like that...nothing major, but all very first run cars have problems.
