once again it is resting on the exhaust tips so it looks a little askew! That and I cut out the exhaust outlets. Looks nice up in person.


Now to sand it down and re-paint it!!

 

Looks damn good. If it was me I would punch out that center piece. But damn, that looks eleventy billion times better then stock bumper alone.

 

Hey Freerider i got the same problem as u that i have to sand and repaint myslef. Can u tell me the right why in doing since i kno you have done it before.

 

yea. You should use a very fine sand paper (i sometimes use 1,000 grit) to take down the paint and clear coat with some water. Take a regular pucket of water, and just sand it down with the sand paper. You need to be VERY careful with the sand paper that you don't start taking off the primer. You need to get it down to that base primer and no further. If you end up going further your going to need to re-do the primer.

After you sand it down you dry it off and set it up where you want to paint it. Wipe it down with something to get rid off all the finger prints, dust, etc. and start shooting the paint.
