most trick the IAT sensor into thinking the motor is getting cooler air then it really is.
the 2nd part of your ? is a no brainer... to make money. You don't have to believe us, you can buy one. Let us know how you make out.

The chips for the second gens CAN work. Just not often. They tend to work more for 00-02 neons. They won't do anything for 03+ models. If you really want to try one your best bet is to get a JET chip off ebay from a company seller. Should be cheaper than getting one in a store.

 

no thats why. the neon compuer is smarter than it. if you want to do what it does, relocate your iat sensor to your front grill

whats the difference between the MPx pulley and the unorthodox? which one is better

 

those are just two different brands the MPX is modernperformance's version....for the price Im sure the mpx does the same thing...unorthodox just charges too much...

 

The unorthodox by far is a great piece. they did not cut any corners. although the cheaper brands will do the exact same thing, the Unorthodox will last for ever. It is a better quality piece for twice the money.

 

which would you suggest?

 

Obviously graphite would suggest the unorthodox....lol...i would suggest the unorthodox only if you have the money for it...if not, then get the mpx it's just as good and will last till you die
