My vibrant doesn't bother my rear, but it just looks gay the way it hangs all weird from behind, i think i still might just get the srt-4 exhaust anyways though because i want something louder, and then at least if it takes me awhile to do the cut outs it will look way better hanging out then the vibrant does....but are you guys saying that some neons suggest cut out markings behind the bumper??

Wouldn't the paint from the custom cut-outs start to chip and eventually peel all the way tp the rear bumper since you just cut through the clear coat?

Truthfully, I hope I'm wrong, that way I can get rid of the stupid center-piece on the 2000 Neon front bumper (where it looks like it could be one nice grill opening, but it's sectioned into two).

clear finger nail polish can fix that problem of paint chipping

I did my own cutouts on my car, came out pretty nice and I like the way it sits up rather than hanging out for under the bumper, I just used a 4 1/8 hole saw in my drill. And as for the paint chipping my car is white , so is the plastic that the rear bumper is made of, plus the hole saw made a really smooth cut. after I used a dremmel with a sanding drum to smooth out any roughness.
