In the past I have posted that I had water on my front driverside floorboard of my 2000 Neon. Well this weekend I was installing some new speakers so I pulled up the carpet and the rear seat to find puddles of water all over the floor. I could ring out the water from the carpet. I think my problem started from the rear and worked its way forward. I am assuming I have a door seal that is leaking. I looked on JCWhitney but do not know which one is right. Can anyone help? Any other ideas if this is not it?

 

On mine it was the left(drivers side)taillight and trunk lid seal. Pull the trunk carpetand run a hose from the roof down the back and check taillights and trunk lid from inside with flashlight.

 

That is a Very Common accurance with Neon's...atleast once a month there is a thread that pops up about Taillight seals that go! Every (2) years change them....
