The 745 is probally 90-110 grand but I'm going to be working 2 jobs after I graduate college to pay for that and open up my own shop. It'll be 10 years. Going to start college in the fall. Engine and tranny i would say 4-6 grand

Of course, I need it because my neon will be tight but I really can't meet high profile clients with it. I'm just going to save up and pay straight up cash, so hopefully I'll get 10 g's knocked off the price. It all dpends which one I like the best, I know its going to be a 7 series

well here is my .02...my mom has a 2001 neon ES i have a 2002 neon ES...both bought brand new(at the times)...anyway...there is a huge difference in the way the three speed and the four speed accelerates...the three speed accelerates quickly...whereas the four speed accelerates much slower...and sometimes feels like it lacks power...i must say though...mom and dad had to replace their tranny at 63k, while my car is at 98k and i have had NO issues whatsoever...the only time she was in the shop was when someone hit me....and messed up my tire...and whole alignment...also a big difference is...both cars running at say 75 mph...the three speed is seeing roughly 3200 rpms....my four speed is seeing around 2700...so i believe the three speed makes the engine work harder

thats kind of what i was looking to hear, seeing how the two would compare, so to me, it would seem very minimal to get the 4 speed automatic if it really didnt do that much, i only thought an extra gear could't hurt and maybe help it out towards higher speeds, but it doesnt seem to make too much of a differance. Thanks for sharing!

Plus, if you stick with the 3-speed you can get a high stall convertor and a RMVB.
