the one off ebay, at least that i once got, was 15 bucks for some crap i could have gotten at home depot for 5. dont even need the kit. as stated, cut the lower part of the support bracket. then you just have to remove 2 bolts on your support (leaving only one on each side for it to pivot on) and there you go, flipflop lid

I love how we've been hearing so much about Airwolf's flip flop trunk...yet there has yet to be ONE pic posted.

its a very easy mod, only requires a socket set (10mm i believe?) and a hack saw. also might want a blanket or something safe to lay the trunk lid on as not to scratch it all up. and some DL (dumb labor can be found in a spouse or buddy) to assist with removing/installing the lid so there are no "incidents". the back glass on cars is very fragile.

^oh yeah, i almost forgot bout this important part... a sharpie to make an outline of the bolts holding the trunk on. it will save much headache realigning exactly how they were in there.

^yes, i agree. not trying to insult your car, but that spoiler looks hideous. not a big fan of the larger/ multi-layered type spoilers. but at least its painted, not one of those crappy erector set lookin ones.

i think the spoiler of the general lee neon weighs it down alittle..do you think?
