Default Gauges

I bought an ebay gauge and when I went to install it the needles touched the gauges. Anyone else have this problem?

It is a 2000 and the gauges are like : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/i516-...QQcmdZViewItem

hold down the trip reset button thingy and start your car, the needles should go through this thingy where they go o the end then slowly come back at increments, then you are fine

No, I am not talking about it being re-calibrated. I am more asking if anyone has it where the needle won't move because it is touching the gauge face itself. We have installed many gauges in the past, and never had that problem so I was wondeing if it was a problem for any others.

Thanks for the replies!

For me, when i tried to lift up my needle, the top of the needle cap just popped off and won't go back in so i basically just superglued the needle cap to the base an it rise it up like 2 mm or so... so i have no clearance issue... also... i got desperate putting it in so i added a little bit of superglue to the back of the gauge and glued it on... no sticking or any problem at all so far..
