'01 Neon fuse panel diagram?
Hello, all. Owner of an '01 Neon as an everyday driver here (my "just for grins" car is the same as my log-in name, for what that's worth) that's given pretty good service to date.
Here's the situation: the horn button on my '01 has developed a mind of its own lately, where the horn will come on when nobody is within 20 feet of the vehicle (and there's no alarm system installed, by the way). A tap on the horn button will stop it temporarily.
As a Band-Aid until such time as this can get attended to, I thought about pulling the fuse for the horn but I can't come up with a diagram showing which fuse does what. Can someone provide a fuse panel diagram/layout, please? Thanks.

Both the fuse panel on the drivers end of the dash and the power distributioncenter under the hood should have all the fuses listed on the inside of the covers.
You should be able to pull the 15a horn fuse or the horn relay both are located in the power distribution center under the hood just behind the air cleaner housing. Look on the inside of the cover for the fuse/relay locations.
In the power distribution center, from the rear left corner of the panel the horn fuse is the 15a that is the 3rd fuse in from the corner.
Note: When you do the horn switch repair it’s located in the airbag assemble. Make sure you disconnect the battery and handle the air bag assemble with care. The airbag assemble is not difficult to remove, just a couple of bolts and electrical connectors but, I don’t have any instructions for the horn switch replacement. The problem could also be the “clock spring mechanism” in the steering column.
