Default Check engine light

My Neon's check engine light is coming on and I am getting the following two codes:

P0340 (Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit)
P1684 Drive 5 Line 4

Can anyone tell me what these mean and is it something I can take care of myself?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

So is there anything tricky about installing it? Looks like it's a bit of a hassle getting to. Is it something that just plugs in? I read somewhere else that you should expect some oil leakage when removing it. What exactly does it do? Any diagrams you have would be appreciated.

WTF is up with P1684

There are so few people with neons that haven't ran into that code.

Replacing the camshaft positioning sensor is very simple, and they cost $15 new from Autozone if I remember correctly. The sensor is bolterd to the drivers side of the cylinder head just below the valve cover and is held on by four bolts and one electrical connector. Just remove those four bolts, disconnect the connector, and put the new one on...just make sure the seal is on thet new sensor. You may have to work around or unscrew the black harness that also runs along the cylinder head and valve cover...should take no more then 30 minutes if you dont know what your doing.
