Nice ride contagious, large rims and lowering definity makes it look good. I dunno... I'm still deciding between performance and appearance. I want it to look good but at the same time i heard larger rim would slow the neon down at accelerating... I have 14" steelie right now... i'm thinking about getting 15" rims... performance and doesn't look too small... what do you guys think? I want to go for the largest rim possible without sacrificing too much acceleration. So... either 15 or 16?

Its all in how much you want to spend on the rims...lighweight track wheels generally come in 15x7, 16x7, and then some are even wider. The lightest 16's that I know of weigh in at under11lb without a tire...but they cost $500 each.

well when i remove my tires to put my coil overs and paint my calipers i my sxt rims is light as hell i was impress who light was my stock rim if you want to say in stock range get a set of sxt wheels, but like 03neonrt said there lightweight wheels like volk and ro ja i think am right, but they will cost you.. the biggest i seen is 20s on a neon..like the pic below those are volk racing by the way...

18s and a 2inch drop it will be fine.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys... I'm thinking about getting it from discounttiresdirect.com because last time i ordered a clearance 17" wheel online and they said they're out of it so they said I would get $50 off my next order of $300 or more... so I'm thinking about getting it off there along with new tires. This is what i've been looking at:
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...=false&fcb=
Most of the wheels look good to me... (probably because i've been staring at hubcap too long? [&o]) of course the cheaper the better... but since they don't list the weight... what do you guys think would be the best one between cost and weight? MB brand seems to be the cheapest but I'm not sure about their rims with regard to the weight... anyone had any ideas? Thanks!
