This weekend I am thinking to go to the store and get single exhaust peices and make my own exhaust and adding tip. I dont plan on buying a new Cat or anything. I was thinking to maybe just do from the cat back you know that hole one foot. But, does anyone have an suggestions, size of piping, should I get bigger pipes for the hole thing. I am just looking for it to look nicer, sound better, an performance is always a plus. Let me hear everyones IMO.

id say stock tubing..dont go with 3"

 

3" isn't even a question unless the car is seriously built up.

If you're close to stock and haven't even went into the engine, a 2.25 inch exhaust would be fine.

 

What is the stock size? 2.25"? or 2.5"?

 

The only mods I have are a cold air intake. I think Ill just put a new pipe after the cat and throw on a tip. I think the one I liked is like 2.5 or something. But you recommend running 2.25 pipe from my heads to my cat...??

 

i would go 2.25 all the way, not like stock, 2.25 and then 2.0

 

2.5 sounds good cuz if you go with the full 3 you need engine mods beside cai like headers etc. so you wont loose alot of pressure...

 

i was figuring that 3" weould come back into convo if reading the other thrads. My bad.
