well today i was approved to some credit so i got a carbon fiber hood off of ebay for 350. just wondering how hard they are to mount and will i need hood pins?

 

Unless the ebay auction specificly said you need hood pins you will not know until it arrives. If it has a latch like your OEM hood then no you would not.

My suggestion to you is when it arrives, do not let the shipping company leave until you inspect the hood. I will never order any CF online. I have yet to see one arrive anywhere without damage. even if its minimal. In the future, always order from a local shop... let them deal with shipping damage and returns if needed.

i have to pick it up at the freight center so i will inspect it right there

 

inspect inch by inch ,and make sure at the moment the monts fite your neon!

 

oh i double checked with the guy that is was for my neon. its apparently a company that actually supplys the hoods for other companys.
