im goin to get a external tach i just wanted to know if anyone can tell me how to wire it up...

 

ok well i did mine but i still need to buy dis tach adapter for it can get da right reading cus im only reading half rpm. does it have a shift light.
dis wat i did.
1. made holes in dashbored (make sure it doesnt cover ur view cuz cops can be ********.
2. i took off da cap for da fuses( wen u open ur driver side door. were da light fuses are at)
3. i grounded da ground wire (of course u will c a screw in there where u can ground it)
4. i connected da light wire to da fuse that controls my headlights( wen i mean connected i mean take da fuse out and wrap da wire around one of da metal ends da go inside in da slot)
5. the power was connected to da ignition fuse.
6. i ran the rpm signal wire through the firewall wit a metal coathanger.
7. now to get da wires u connected to ur fuses run dem up da side so dey come up. (ill post a pic in a little while but ull c)
8. now for da rpm, i spliced open one of da wires da come from da coilpack and connected it,dey say u need tach adapter cuz our cars send out a 2 cylinder signal and it only sends a half rpm. but i yet have to done dat cuz i heard to buy someting else.

da power is connected to da radio fuse and da light is connected to da headlight fuse
