Default which amp should i go with?

Im thinking about the hifonics brutus 2000 watt amp.
how good is hifonics compared to rockford or kicker.
btw im using it to push two diamond audio d3 12s

hmm...kicker and rockford are expensive for their names...they perform well...but not as good as jl audio....just go for a class d mono block amp at least 2000 watts strong

never heard of dat brand, but rocker is by far da best and alpine, mtx, kicker

i had ppi amps and i almost had a heart attack when started it up.

Not sure if you already bought this amp, but it's probably not very good. Companies that list their amps in max power usually aren't very good. Some of the cheap amps run at very low resistance so they can push out more power. They tend to over-heat too. Rockford sells high quality amps and are expensive in return. I have a JBL GTO 1201.1, class D mono amp that pumps out like 1107 watts RMS or something like that. Only cost me $375.
