im still saving and trying to find a place to get a cheap srt stock hood.

 

why ya want a stock srt hood? there heavy get a fiberglass one

 

yah, but then i gotta go with the damn hood pins right? its still up in the air whatsgunna end up on her,but once i get pics, opinions will be helpful.lol

 

The only reason I'd hesitate to get a carbon fiber hood is b/c the sun beats them up really bad. I believe it's the clear coat that always messes up.

well i will be taking it off for the winter. NY gets way to much salt for my likes. as far as sun. i wouldnt worry about it. im not sure if im going to need hood pins or not ill be able to tell better once the hoods on the car. i will post pics on friday

 

just asking cuz every fiberglass srt hood iv looked at, they say u'll need hood pins. id put em on, but id like to stay away from them if possible

 

I have a fiber glass from howell, and have never used hood pins.
