Yes, the MSD wires do have less resistance, but your not putting any more power to the plug since the PCM is strictly controlling the spark timing.

 

I just put new msd wires in and the new autolite idums in my sxt and havent got a chance to try them out seeing my rides been in the bodyshop for 2 weeks now and it will be 3 weeks until I get her back. So yeah new plugs and wires do make lot better for a little hp and gasmileage.
