right now i got 230watts 4way speakers[pioneer] (door/rear) and i was thinking of getting some 300watts speakers and i want to know what's the difference between the2/3/4way speakers or which one would you recommend? i dont have an amp or equalizer, the speakers i have right now work good, but i'd like to put a lil bit of 'power' to it.

 

First if you dont have an amp, upgrading from 230 to 300 watts would be pointless, since most aftermarket headunits only put out a 50W power boost anyway, so thats all ur gonna get outta ur speakers anyway (50watts). only way to get the full 300w of power would be to get a 300W amp

2 way= woofer + mid
3 way= woofer + mid + tweeter
4 way= woofer + mid + 2 tweeters
