I just installed lowering spring in my 03 neon, 1.5-1.8" drop, looks GREAT...but the problem is when ride over a bump...it makes a noise (like rear wheel is hitting something + it's rough in back) from the rear. The front is ok no noise what so ever only if i ride on really big bump which is normal for every car. Do guys have any solution for this noise and make it smoother on rough roads??
Well, its more caused by the stock mounts (top hats), not really the struts themselves. I believe theres a little write-up on one of the other forums that I have a link to somewhere, if you want it just PM me.
Teins Tech...also my ride is little bit harsh. you won't feel it until you hit really big bump. Is there any shock absorber or any good struts for lowering springs?? so ride can be little smoother
If you are lowered you can expect a rougher ride, I dont think there is any way around it. I know I can feel every crack in the road but you learn to love it.
