I just blacked out my chrome on my stock grill and I love the blacked out front look.

 

You can get away with that look a lot easier though, since your car is already black.

I miss my flip flop trunk since I havent seen it for two weeks .

 

I have done them myself but due to lack of a digi cam I have not yet posted any pics of my carHopefully soon I will have photo's. The pictures were a great help and the mod was simple and easy to do using a drem tool and file to clean up. I evencut the original trunk "Fuzz" remounted it. All thats left to do is reconnect the wires and get my third light back and Im in biz! Looking to other trick mods like that so if you got anybody has any drop me a line!

 

i want to do the flip flop to my trunk but im not sure how to do it. Can someone post a close up of where you cut the bracket so i dont screw it up.

 

Air wolf has the up close pics pm and you can have them. I will add though that isf you cut to far the trunk will not sit level when it up so i took a couple pices of thick sheetmetal and "fine tuned" the level by riveting them in so the arm would rest against them and keep them trunk level. this could also be used on the ones who cut perfect to add strenght to the area ensuring the constant open and close does not dent up the "bumpstop".

 

ok thanks cuz i want to do the flip flop but the fact of cutting the trunk is making my dad not want me to do it. and its not gonna be good if i screw it up when i start cutting.
