Is it just mine or is everyone's neon speedometer 3 mph read slower then it actually is. I was a cop for 3 years and the first year with my car I did some checking cause a buddy of mine said that it did run slower then it read. I found out that my 05 sxt ran exactly 3 MPH slower then then it read. I was just curious.

 

Well I cant help you out there cause I have custom gauges and just right in my 04 sxt. Maybe its just 05s that do that .

 

my sxt is exactly on at 20mph, but have never had the opprotunity to calibrate it against one of those 'this is your speed' boards at anything higher.

 

I'll let you guys know when I get pulled over. I just threw SRT rims so my speedo is supposed to be off. (HAHA)

 

Mine does. We have this annoying little "radar" trailer thing parked outside a construction zone. Reads exactly 3 miles faster on my odometer than on the radar trailer.
