I go about 75mph taking the turnpike most of the way...sometimes its closer to an hour and a half. But never anywhere near two hours or anything.

Theres a lot of SRT guys around here, but not many SOHC Neons. And the ones that are have 1st Gens that are riced out or pretty much stock 2nd Gens.

And I always feel wierd going to any kind of meets where I'll be the only N/A Neon out of ten SRT-4's...not to mention like 90% of the SRT guys are always cocky bastards because of their almighty 2.4 turbo mentality.

Hmmm I might have to do that...best part is my car will be finished and prepped for Autox. I havent autocrossed in like a year so I'm going to be ruuusty.

Yeah, there is a lotta SRT-4s around here too...millions of WRXs though. I want to go check out some tuner car shows but I really don't know when or where any are hahaha. It would be weird being N/A surrounded by a bunch of turbocharged cars. You gotta get some kind of respect for being N/A though.

I gotta admit though. It would be hard not to be cocky with an SRT-4. Those things are so incredibly fast.

around me your respected as long as you respect your self in another words take care of your riden like your ride and dont down others peoples ride. the only thing ive ever gotten from people was you drive a neon. but like i said most people are leanient just like what you got n take care of it

 

definately true. i always get crap when i say i drive a neon. especially from all the civic ricers out where i live. i might have to come out there.lol..watch a little. i live in chicago area, so it wouldnt be bad.

 

Yeah, I get a lot of crap taken from people when they say stuff like, "you couldn't have bought a crappier car." I'm pretty happy with my car. Its not the fastest thing in the world but it surprises me all the time. This pontiac firebird was taken all these cars down this road I was driving. I pulled up just for fun and I actually beat him in 3rd gear from about a 35mph roll. Yeah...I would have destroyed him if I was in the right gear...2nd. Neons are pretty sweet cars lol
