ok..... i bought some lowering springs........ from ebay, and they came with adjustment things.... well they wont fit the stock struts due to the plastic dust boot flange.... so i beat it with a hammer until i could get the spring over it..... and the springs are rubbing now........ im thinking about grinding the flange completely off..... i know im already wrong by getting ebay springs...... i told myself long ago that i would never stoop to ebays level.... but im only home for two weeks until i have to go back to iraq.....

I beat the **** out of my strut and my wrist still hurts. Stock neon struts SUCK

if they are the short little springs with the adjustable top you are going to hate yourself for putting them on....... they are a joke..... really low hight, REALLY bad ride. but if you have beatin the struts already might as well finish getting them on.
