lol - i was about to ask about the drop too, 'cos i was hoping that just going up in wheel size looked that good

I want to replace the stock chrome SXT wheels with something a lil different... Dark bronze shotpeened 7spokes? But then I'd want to drop it.....then I'd want new struts......then I'd want chassis braces.......then I'd be looking for more HP...... :P

What's up with the drop?
The struts are all shot to hell so its throwing everythin off...if you look at the back of the car, theres a huge wheel gap thats almost as bad as stock...new struts should solve my problems though.
I did notice the butt was sticking up a bit. I didn't want to say anything. With the huge squat in the front and the but sticking up in the back, I thought it was a bit flamboyant.

Heh yeah all my friends describe it as my cars "drag status" lol. It'll be fixed by next week though thankfully...

LOL.

I'm getting tired of my wheel gap myself. I don't know if I told u but the reason I'm not getting a lowering kit is b/c my dad bought me some new struts and I don't want to kill them.

What kind of struts did he buy you? You could always just go with some Hotchkis springs, they have a mild drop and are pretty good on struts too.

Really??? He got me some struts from autozone. I believe the struts have the stock performance.

How much of a drop do the Hotchkis springs provide? Are they like the Mopar springs or something? Where would I find them for my Neon? I think the official site only has them for the SRT-4.

The Hotchkis springs give a 1.25" drop all around (maybe a little more in the back). Not saying your struts are going to last 100k miles on these springs, but they should hold up better then if you went with some of the other aftermarket options. Like with anything though, other factors come into play as well, like the condition of the roads you drive on, and things like that...

99% of all SRT-4 suspension mods will work on a standard Neon...

What would have to be done to make the springs work? Would it be a pain?

No "modifications" would need to be done to make the springs work on your struts...they would work like any other spring install.

When u install any spring made for the srt-4 on a regular Neon, does that mean that it'll drop my regular Neon more than it would drop an srt-4?
