Default 2003 Dodge Neon problem

I own a 2003 Dodge Neon that my parents bought me, it has run perfect with no problems since we were the first time buyers straight off the lot with only 12 miles but just now which would be a good three to four years my battery finally went out. Which isn't a problemcause the battery wasn't expensive and I know now the expected life of a battery is three years. But when I had my battery replaced, it made my 6 CD Change no longer work. Is there a spedcial thing I need to do? I checked with the place where I bought it at and it will beover 250 just for them to look at it. I have a feeling it's something small and an auto savve person would know how to fix it or should I buckle down and waste all the money to get my disc player back? Oh yeah and cause the car is so low to the ground I had my window washer fluid tank punctured, about how much will that cost to repair?

I've had suggestions like take the battery off and than put it back ofter an hour so the car loses the charge and the CD player would reset itself but it didn't all I had to do was fix the clock again and I had another one about changing out the fuse in the fuse box but I wouldn't know the first thing on how to do that and it will be awhile before I see my dad again so that he do it or so he can show me how to do it

Those things go out all the time. Do you know what kind of stereo you could get with $250? Why even consider having the stock one fixed?[:@]

for 250 bucks to 'fix' it, i agree with the above idea. you can find yourself a pretty decent aftermarket deck for 250.

Yea I'd advise going with an aftermarket screw the factory LOL. Theres plenty with a lot of extras like bluetooth if you have a bluetooth phone.
