I have recently purchased a used 2000 Dodge Neon and it came with no remote just a Sentry Key. I purchased a remtoe (via Ebay) and was wondering how to program it without have one on hand that is programmed. DONT TELL ME TO GO TO THE DEALERSHIP so that i can spend $50 so they can open, close the door a few times and hit a few buttons. Over my dead body will i go to them!

 

You cant program a new remote unless you already have one progammed on the system. If you dont have any remotes programmed, then you will have to take it to a dealership so they can program one remote with their DRBIII. Once they have the first progammed, you can program up to two more remotes on your own...
