Hey all. I just bought a 01' neon. The trunks seal/weatherstrip is allowing the rain to pour into the trunk. Where can I find a NEW one. (other than the stealership)? THANKS

 

you might try JC Whitney. all you really need is the stripping, then just cut to fit. also you might want to check to make sure there isnt any leakage around the taillights.

 

you could go to a junkyard, but i would check the taillight seals. they tend to leak more than the actual trunk seal

 

I found the tail light ones (leaking). Pulled them off, thick coat of rtv, and sealed. I put a hose on the top of the car facing down the back glass and laid down the seats and looked with a light and....it was still leaking at the trunk seal. I opened the trunk and the weatherstripping looks flat. I thank you guys for the heads up tho.
