DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?! My Neon has decided to start leakin' on me. It rains and I get like 2 inches of water where my spare tire is AND 2 inches in the back passenger floor board. I love my car to death. But this leaking is driving me NUTS!! I live in Louisiana, so you can only imagine how many hours I have been spending w/ a shop vac to get all the water out...it rains pretty much EVERY day here. And I really don't want my car to ruin. Has anyone else had this problem? It started doing this like 2 months ago. Any helpful suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks.

 

replace the weather seal in the door you will be fine. they can be ordered through your dealer or local parts store

 

I had the same problem a year ago, everyone said, gaskets in the doors and trunk lid, but a couple people said to check the gaskets around the taillights, i had been getting water in the rear floor, seats, and spare tire area, i took it to an auto body place, to have them check, they replaced the gaskets around the tail lights and no more leaking!

 

yeah its the tailights. as stupid as it sounds

 

its the gaskets around the taillights. just seal them up good and all your problems will be solved
