Nitrous help
well wet shots are quite a bit safer than dry shots so i think he might be ok for a few thousand miles.... long as he takes good care of it... i just hope it isn't and automatic b/c if it is ohhh man he is seriously in trouble but besides the point..... you will prolly need to buy a new fitting that will attach to the line from your wet kit and the fuel rail.... try nitrous express's website...?
I've always gone by the following philosophy when it comes to nitrous...Nitrous is like a hot chick with STD's. You really want to hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences.

ok the screder valve( relief valve) is a 4an fitting you can just make that line your self or just tee into the feul line

Also, to the non-nitrous folks... nitrous is no different than any other form of forced induction. The only thing dangerous about it is having a pressurized tank in you car.
Nitrous is not flammable!
All nitrous does is add air (oxygen) just like a turbo.
Add fuel with the nitrous oxide to make a wet kit.
A dry kit may be bad for the motor due to not adding fuel with the nitrous.
Its cheap power, but limited power also... when your bottle runs out you are slow again. A buddy of mine put a 50 shot on a fairly stock 1st gen R/T and made 202whp and 198wtq.

Yes it's like a chick with STD's, but if you know what you're doing (and using a condom) it can turn out good. Not a good example but that's ok.
You just can't use it whenever you feel like it. Should be used during WOT and no more than 10-15 seconds.
A 10 pound bottle of 50-shot should last you around 20 1/4 mile passes. Not like you need it when you're just driving around.

Stay away from the nitrouse unless you have done cam upgrades valves lifters etc. a stock motor is not set up for things like that...better yet stay away altogether save yourself the headache.

Hey im new here, and this is my first dodge neon and I LOVE IT!
my previous cars were a civic and a chevy prizm( beater car)
i just bought a Nitrous Express kit from a friend for 300 bucks today but i have a few questions about hooking it up.
I can hook up everything but i ran into a problem with the fuel line/rail (its a wet shot btw)
Since the previous kit was for a ford s10, apparently it does not hook up to the dodge fuel rail.. or thats what the guy from the local speed shop claims. I was just wondering if i could get a part to screw into the fuel rail or should i just T-splice or Y-splice the line from the fuel line? Any help or comments would be much help. Does anyone else here run a wet shot? could you send me a pic if so
