I have an 02 neon with the 41te trans. Recently I took off from a stop sign I got to about 5 mph when I heard a pop come from the front end.I steered the car to the side of the road. Where I discovered I had no gears at all. I could feel it go into each gear but not go anywhere. So I figured the the torque converter crapped out.
Well I don't want to do a total rebuild but I do want to fix this problem and help with problems in the future. I'm looking for
1. torque converter hopefully 2500 stall
2. shift improver kit
3. new MOPAR filter kit
4. external cooler
I have been able to find everything I want except the torque converter. I have done alot of searching for it but I can't seem to find one that I like. I can buy another factory converterbut I heard they are junk.I don't want to but 200 bucks into a torque converter if its gonna be junk. I found another website that will build me one for 900 bucks I'm not paying that much. I would like to find a place that I can order the converter,the shift kit, and the cooler from. Any advice you guys or girls could give me would be alot of help thank you very much

Yeah I already looked at them and they don't offer a converter for the 41te only the31th thanks though
