Default Refill coolant

Hi, I have a 2000 Plymouth Neon 4.0L SOHC. It's a standard transmission. Ok, after installing a new radiator I now have to refill the coolant solution. I read in the Chilton handbook and here are the step.

1. Mix 50/50 coolant/distill water
2. Pour the solution through the cap that is by the engine.
3. Pour until I see the solution fill up to the top where I am pouring the solution
4. Close the cap
5. Pour more solution in the coolant reservoir between the bottom line where it says "ADD" and the line where it says "FULL".
6. Turn on the car and let it run for a few miles. Meanwhile check for leaks.
7. Now check the coolant reservoir again to make sure the solution is still in between the "ADD" and "FULL" mark. And correct my levels if needed.

Should the coolant solution in the reservoir be in between or should it be at the "FULL" mark?

So, am I missing anything here?

Now I was told by a friend that I have to do some coolant bleeding. If not, there may be a change that I can mess up my engine. I'm not sure what he is talking about. But does anybody know anything about this coolant bleeding process? Or do I just keep on with the step above?

Thanks for your help.

I really dont know about bleeding the coolant, although it doesnt make sence why you would do it. I would think that when you run the car for a while, all the air that might be traped inside the cooling system is going to out to the reservoir.
About the level in the reservoir, it says it should be between ADD (the minimum level) and Full (the max level). If its in between the two levels the car will run fine, if its al FULL the car will aslo run fine. Just don go above FULL or the car will overflow the excess coolant once its up temp.
Hope that helps
