Default Prob with 04 not starting

went out today to start my damn car and it wouldnt start. it sounded and acted like it did but once you let go of the key the car shut right of. yesterday it ran weird like there was a squeek but nothing major and the cold start valve tap was there (but thats norm when its cold out was 50 yesterday) after about 4 tries the car finally started but now cause of being flooded it was rough but smoothed right out.. anyone have any idea what could cause this? the car has 29,5xx miles on it and i know its close to needing a tune up.

well if i were you i would give it a tune up with some 7.5mm, 8mm or 8.5 mm wires and iridium plugs(they are pricey but work fantastic!) when it wouldn't start would it just click or was it turning over properly..... if it sounds like it is having trouble turning over a little bit i would take a voltmeter and check if your battery is fully charged, if the batt. isn't fully charged it could cause trouble starting so it might be time for a new battery :-P anyways hope that helps and good luck!

Mine done that. Only after I got a new exhaust system. Sometimes fails on the first try if it hasnt been started the whole day.
