Im trying to remove my dash on my'02so I can look at the wiring to my gauge cluster and when I lift the top off it seems to be caught in the middle. I dont want to force it but I was wondering if Im missing something.
any help on how to remove the dash would be great,

I have an 04, so maybe the dash is different (?)

...but mine had 2 screwes in the defroster vent up under the front windshield... also, ...I didn't take mine all the way off, just lifted enough to change from SE to SXT gauges with the tach.... someone here told me if you want to take the dash completely out, or even up all the way, ya have to remove the 2 front (left and right) inside side pillar covers....

 

yea remove da side pillars wit a flat head screwdriver and da dash should pop out. i did it wen i installed my tweeters. oh and 2 screws on da side of da dash. u see dem wen u open da doors.
