i was just looking around at some other parts to get for my car and found this. it says it can be used to modify air/fuel ratio and is a piggy back system. well my question is isnt that all megasquirt is doing aswell? couldnt i use this instead of say megasquirt for my turbo application? i have a feeling i cant and im prob missing a key thing about what megasquirt controls, i do understand megasquirt can do alot more and hooks up to a laptop.

but anyways any info would be great thanks.

no megasquirt takes the control completely away from the stock ecu. those units trick the computer into thinking its in a different situation so it will inject more/less fuel and stuff liek that.

 

do a search in this section about "SAFC"... i've posted about more than i need too. lol
