Default Is my gas pedal FUBAR

i know you guys have probably seen my thread around the other neon forums so i'll just c/p

I just came back from a long drive to the beach, i don't know if that is the reason why. It's like a 2 hour drive and we did most of it non stop so the throttle stayed the same for a while.

Anyways my pedal is pushed in further than it should be. Also last night when I was leaving i got in my car and the gas pedal was stuck. It was really hard to press. Then something popped and it sucks now

My throttle response is still good cuz of my 60mm tb, but the pedal is pushed in further than it should be. I'm installing my CAI today. Is there anything I should be looking for while those cables are in my face?

Do you guys know if SRT pedals will bolt up to my car no problem? I have an 02 ATX. I really need to get this problem fixed cuz i don't like the idea of my gas pedal going out...or even worst my brakes.

Is it the throttle response or is it just hard to push the pedal?

I'm guessing it's just hard.
