YAY my megasquirt came in the mail today!!!!! im soooo happy!!!! but my laptop doesnt have a serial port [:@]lol o well ill ta[:@]ke care of that im just sooooo happy!!!!! cant wait to hook this up my car is gonna love me!!!

i will try to take some pics and such during the install (as long as it doesnt drive me crazy) i have no idea when im gonna try to install this i need a day or so i think to do it all and tune....

any one who installed for a first time install how long it take you? i got the rs-autosport one with the universal wiring harnes.

yeah i read most that but he never worked on it like straight i dont think i will hopefully devote like a whole day or two to hooking it up as long as it doesnt make me made and crazy lol

i like to set aside 3-6 hours depending on what i'm doing sometimes 12 never short ur self on time when it comes to cars. learned that the hard way a few times

 

yeah... no i dont think ill blow anything the wriing guide is actually pretty good so i wont miss wire and as long as i pretune it good or find a pretuned set thats close to my car ill be fine.... there is just alot of wiring to do =( ill get mad trying to do everything in the tiny spaces lol

Megasquirt=the ability to bring out the real power in a neon. I wonder if mikey has dynod his newly MS'd car yet. I saw this guy who was tuning his Evo and it made such a big difference. I mean, he did have tons of experience with tuning but it was amazing. He wasn't tuning for 1/4 mile ET but for top speed or something like that. It went from like 168 to 202mph(rough numbers but it was close).

 

yeah ms removes all the rev limiters and everything i cant wait gotta put on my wideband o2 first before i even start hooking up this thing so i can actually tune it lol.....

 

yea i'd love to put MS on my car but i just dont trust myself with the tuning and i need my car to get to school so yea.....

 

yeah i need my car for that too soooo i have to wait for a long enough break that i dont have to rush the install and tune....
