There isn't a different cluster for MTX or ATX, as whtdoesitmatter said. I'd recomment looking around on craigslist or going to a U pull it rather than paying for one online. Those ones are overpriced. >_>

Yea, I couldn't believe it either when I found the car. That's why I wanted to find a tach for it asap. I've owned the car for about 3 weeks.

Thanks for all the help guys. I knew the experts would come through for me. I am in the process offinding a cluster with a tach.

seriously what kind of sense does that make?!?!??!
cost of said vehicle.

my 00 neon was 13,000 sticker. it came with one option, A/C.
no tach, manual, wind up windows, no power locks, no cruise.

my 96, had an auto, a tach cluster, cruise, but no power locks or windows. and a/c.

my 05 stx has everything! original sticker was $19,000

I found one. The gauge cluster mileage is within in a 1000 miles of what my car has. Thanks for the offer Mat, I appreciate it, Eric

if you change the cluster, it will display the clusters mileage NOT actual mileage. If your car has 50,000 miles, and your new cluster say 25,000, it will display the 25,000. so ya you will need to keep record of what your car actually has

Last time I was at the junkyard they only had one 2nd gen neon, but it was whole. Im hoping it still has its hood and headlights. They have loads of 1st gen neons, atleast a dozen. I'll take a look, and grab what ever they have.
