hey all
its been a while since i last messaged yall but anyway
i installed a flow master series 40 exhust on my car its annoying a lil becuase im not used to hearing the exhust and **** but its not fart can annoying.
ill see if i get a sound clip or something but anyway i think i lost horse power or something the car pulls strong in the low end but when i get on it on a bypass it seems like when i get at higher gears its just not the same like it doesnt seem like its just not fast as it was with the factory muffler.

now is it the way i installed it or its just not the muffler for the car? is this fixable?

 

keep us updated... I was planning on installing a flowmaster 40 down the road too... to give it a little more agressive sound. I'm not sure about the hp question... but keep me updated.

like when cruising you have to jump from 3 to 5th and keep it between 1.5 2.0 k rpms so it stay low

 

but how's the tone? nice and low? or kinda raspy and high?

 

its a deep one its nothign like a fart can its just loud like i set off a car alarm well you know that alarm notice bleep bleep
its a crisp sound tho its nothing thats crackly it does pop but thats because i have fuel burning down the pipe and i stuck a 3 inch opending into a 2.0 inch pipe it was hard as hell to do and i had use to two clips and and alot of that putty weld a exhust and **** i onno i ll get some pics

 

Nice... that would be sweet then. Do you think you can get a sound clip by any chance? If it does sounds good then i'm just gonna go with flowmaster... i almost had a second thought to go with a vibrant or mangaflow... but if flowmaster sounds good too then i'm gonna save my money and go with flowmaster

 

well this is temp i wanna do a full borla or some other exhust but you have to get a saw saw for it to fit right unless you mount it to the side like the factory exhust cuz this ***** is some what big i have to go to court today so i cant get anythign till tommerow and what not ummm i would also recommend a a 2.5 pip upgrade so if you dont like it you can take it back and throw somehting else ont here i would also get a series 50 i think

 

I have a magnaflow resonator on mine with an srt rear section, stock pipe, and I think it sounds good not to loud but it is deep,mine has alarms giving of warnings when I throttle it going through parking lots also. Turns head when I roll by a crowd whether Im idling or w.o.t . Mine does fine in higher rpm range but I think I lost a little on take off, Its like freeflow, it kinda flushes all back pressure on take off but then it romps from like 2500 rpms on. Mines atx by the way.
