throttle body ?
They will both fit. I have an mpx 60mm TB and an ebay cai. both fit together wondefully. A straight pipe bellows tube will keep your TB pretty damn secure and won't move a lot. You will notice a HUUUUUUGE difference with the 60mm TB and make the car a lot more fun to drive. Your gas will go down for sure though because you'll be going into higher RPM's quicker....
I"m using my stock TB right now with my cai and i miss the way the pedal used to feel.

i didnt' until i put the 60mm TB on holy **** car feels weak as hell...you gotta pretty much floor the car to go anywhere now. the highest rpm's i've seen are like 3500...before with the TB i could easily get to 4K+
I can understand why these are so sought out on the forums, but I don't see justification for them being $300, that ****s crazy.

Exactly. For everyone on this forum that has never experienced a 60mm TB, it's somewhat of the virginity effect. "I don't need it!".
Well you're right to some extent and while it may not increase performance overall, it sure makes for a hell of a better ride.
The pedal is stiffer and your car pulls a LOT harder to redline (especially important for us ATX guys that have no RPM control for the most part). Floor your atx and you're lucky to get 3500rpm before downshifting. When I floor it I get to 4 and above no problem. Around turns, hills and stop lights the car takes off like a freaking rocket. I love it. I need to put it back on because I considered selling it and to be honest I got some REALLY good offers but I can't drive this neon without it. It is very much like having turbo lag without the turbo though...i'll say that much to it's downfalls
