Street Racing Etiquette - funny story w/ vids
So, let this be a lesson learned...
Street Racing Etiquette Rules Broken:
1. Never claim your car is the fastest car in the area.
2. If you bet money and lose, pay up b!tch!
The two rules were broken by a member of my forum. A new member to be exact. Came online and signed up after a night he rolled into the local spot and said he would race anything in the parking lot and win. The best part is that he would not race my buddy's 1.6l turbo honda.
This kid drives a "stock" EVO. We all know from other's that he as a full exhaust, intake and computer flash. The night mentioned above, he did beat a few cars... Stage 1 SRT-4, Stage 3 Cobalt SS, and a bolt on GT.
So after more mouth runnin' on the forum he called out a local notch back stang. Knowing this kid is lying about the mods to his EVO, the stang figured he would play the same game. The EVO asked if the stang was on the bottle or supercharged. The stang owner said no. He didn't ask about turbo, so the stang owner kept quiet about the two of them under the hood.
A small $50 wager was put on the race last night.
RACE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryiJHK7GUbs Notice the stang granny the launch and not really hitting it until 3rd.
EVO not wanting to pay:
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n2bm...ed&search=
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXKcf...ed&search=
Kid ended up paying up, probably in fear of getting is *** kicked.
Moral of the story... you lose, you lose. pay up and save the drama before someone gets hurt.

personally i'd keep it all on the track but.... its still funny oh and thats why you have both people hand their money to a THIRD PARTY who will give it to the winner.... thus making fights less likely to happen so yea good luck with that....
