odd front end noise

odd front end noise
Hi all,
I recently purchased a 2002 neon sxt, and have an odd noise coming from the front end. It sounds like a cross between grinding and a bad rubbing, and occurs mostly right after start up on acceleration and going over dips. I replaced the torsion mounts, as the rubber was seperated from the metal. visual inspection shows nothing out of the ordinary underneath the car, with the possible exception of the control arm bushings. Has anyone experienced anything like this, or know where I should start looking?
