Im still not getting much sleep because of my strained back and neck . Going tommorrow to have her looked at and going to call the police to see if they have caught the punk yet . I cant get the mopar kit without the police finding the punk. Ive been honda hunting ever since thursday late afternoon.

 

sorry to say this wolfie, but they wont find em, because they are not looking due to you not being seriously injured. in there eyes, why would they put more than one cop on the case for more than 15 minutes of taxpayers dollars considering that no harm was really done and you have insurance? Its not right, but thats how it is.

This is how it goes:
Punk kid steals a car
Punk kid steal a plate
Punk kid picks up his palls
Punk kids joyride and smoke pot.
Punk kids smash into you and run
Punk kids ditch car
Punk kidswalk home and have mommy make 'em a PB+J, so she thinks they are good little boys
Cops know all this because it happens all the time.

If you do find em, its because the commited another crime in that same car with the same plates and they got caught.

 

Actually due to the fact its a hit and run and the police knew I was going to the hosptial he said he would catch them for me plus I had tons of witnesses talken to him and they have the plates so I have a feeling I will get good news tommorrow about them finding the kid and I think one of the witnesses new who it was and gave me his name she said maybe. So if they dont get him I sure will or my family also will go lookin for him . I have his plates and name hopefully. One way or another he will be found and I will get whats coming to me and my ride.

 

i hope thats the case, but prepare yourself for never finding them.

my neons got broken into along with about 6 other cars on my street on one nightlast year, and the cops had me all psyched up about how they were going to go all out to find them. LOL that was a 16 months ago.

 

Sorry to hear about your car, but I'm going to have to take the same approach as bone. My car was broken into about a year and a half ago and the cops did nothing other then just take a report. They weren't really that helpful at all. About all the cop did was ask me if I knew anyone who might of done this and at the time I said no. It sucks big time, but thats what insurance is for. Its probably part of the reason my insurance is where it is because this kind of **** happens all the time. Everyone ends up paying higher premiums to cover for things like this. But most the people who do things like that don't have insurance and probably don't know what it is so they don't really care. Hopefully you'll get your car fixed up and you feel better. I wouldn't get too hopeful about the cops actually finding who it was because they probably don't care. They usually have other things to focus on.

 

If the cops dont find them my husband and I will . We have the plates and the name just waitin on the cops to hopefully find them first they also have the plates so its not that hard to find them. With the tons of witnesses and the guy who went after them and got there plates for me I should have no problem getting what I deserve out of the driver.

 

Well I heard back from my insurance company she said they will pay for 5 grand of my hospital bills which will cover my hospital bills and I only have to pay my 250.00 deducable but still waiting to find that punk . Dont know what to get the stock rear or mopar lip kit front and rear ora srt 4 rear . the mopar lip kit would probably be the cheapest hopefully.

 

Well had the estimate and the stock rear is 250.00 bucks so the whole lip kit is actually cheaper than the stock rear wow. Still waiting on the police to talk to the kid they found out a woman owns the honda must be his mom or his girlfriends . Hopefully I can get the mopar kit on by next week.

 

Well I heard from the idiot cops and they are treating me like Im the crimanal instead of the guy that hit me and ran off like a chicken. Found out the guy bought the honda not to long ago and never changed the plates so that means he has no insurance so my insurance company is paying for my hospital bills and my husband and I are paying for the lip kit . Looks like hit and runs you never win. Still the kid could get fines and in jail for awhile still waiting on that.
