Of course announcements like this turn a blind eye to the reason said "problematic" threads have started in the first place.
I'm not starting ****, looking to get myself banned or instigating, but how long do you listen to someones reptitive crap? Take it up with an admin? And do what? Ultimately, what will be done? Nothing.
If there is enough attention to address the entire community, i'm sure a mod, much less an admin could take it upon themselves to handle the matter.
I like this forum a lot, don't get me wrong.

The reason for this post was to bring attention to the rules of the forum and the fact that we can handle issues like adults, rather then like children. Does this mean that we will always see eye to eye? Never, but we can always work on it together and make it better. I also posted it as I did to prevent further rant posts from popping up. These types of posts can spawn rapidly.
I have ZERO problems banning a member or placing an idiot on post approval. You bring a problem to a mod's attention and we will be more then happy to address it. If you think a problem isnt being handled, I BEG you to contact me. Banning someone isnt always the best or right answer. However, each case is always different.
By simply not attacking another member, you allow for common sense, respectful conversation, and for people to understand and correct their errors. Does this always work? No, it doesnt, but would you rather someone attacked you or explained why you were wrong? I'm generalizing here...

It is your job as members to question the integrity of the information posted on this site. I will not bite my tongue if I know damn well what was posted is nothing but BS or could jeopardize another member or his or her car.
There is a big difference between calling out someone about the information that’s posted and personal attacks. I called her a liar, which is a personal attack… If she didn’t like the facts I was posted prior then she should pull out her dyno sheet and prove me wrong. I’ve yet to see it, instead nothing but BS comments that have nothing to do with the point at hand.
As a community we need to put an end… god forbid the topic gets more technical and someone blows up their engine because of it. What if that is you… But as Kalevra would say… “Educate in PM’s†and what? keep the BS on the forum!?
I’m not gonna a let it happen on any forum that I am a member on or the 1500+ member forum I own and admin. DevilsReject can ban me if he wants, I will not let misinformation fly.

I will however say again that these are the exact issues that you should be alerting mods to. False information, bad or horrible modifications, or simply bad information all together have no place on this forum. At the very least, there needs to be an explanation not only as to why, but what would happen if you did do it.

Where did I say that you would be banned? I stated that if the stupidity and childishness continued, people would pay the consequences. In fact, I dont even recall addressing you period. To be perfectly blunt with you, your posts were accurate but your manner was plain rude. You were absolutely right for correcting misinformation, but at the same time, you could have been a bit more polite. That said, its only MY opinion on the matter.....and we all know what opinions are like.....
