yeah you can get alot of power out of using it.
but if your neon is is truly stock stock then who knows if youll notice a diff.
i have a aem intake and no cat converter with 2.5 inch piping exhaust with 4ich tip.

when i get the indi manifoldim also getting the 60mm TB and a pulley kit so i probably will notice more of a difference in my car.just saying.
i also have the 04 sxt.


And does anyone know if the turbo from a srt-4 works on the 04 neons ?

yes it does you would need an adapter and the manifold of course.

Just remember that every mod helps to benefit another.
I'd recommend getting an upgraded header, cat-back exhaust, intake, a computer would be nice, and a TB before I get the Indy. Yes the Indy will offer nice gains if you have other supporting mods.

imma try soing a turbo from a srt-4 sometime here in the next few months.

 

If you have a manual make sure you look into upgrading your clutch its not rated for a ton of power thats the one thing thats slowing down my turbo build i need to save up for the clutch and clutch install. and if you have an auto dont go boost crazy as far as i know auto tranny cant handle all that much either. just be wise when u turbo so you dont blow stuff.

 

like 1blackneon is saying, Get a cai, 60mm tb, indy intake mani, an nice long tube header and a nice non restricitve exhaust would add some nice hp to your car. He didnt say something about the computer but I dont know anything about computers for neons.

 

yeah im not looking to go into alot of boost just some so i can have a little more power.
i want alot of power but just really dont care.

but i should be ok with the indi manifold and 60tb and my exhaust is ok i think.

what im thinking is just getting a srt-4 turbo setup like a factory spec one. which should be ok rite ?
