Bought mine for $10,200 brand new OTD in '04, it had a whole 15 miles on it (I put 10 miles on it test driving it). Gotta love those huge dealer and employee discounts they were handing out like crazy...

 

Mines a first gen, 96 es DOHC mtx. Paid 1400 bucks and then my wife shut the door and the window exploded. Had it insured for all of 10minutes. It also needed a windshield, so 750 bucks later I roll out of the glass shop. Thats all it took to turn a $ 1400 ride into a $2150 dollar ride. Currently looking for a decent 2nd gen mtx to replace as a daily driver and turn the 96 into a racer.
