For some reason when I give my neon a little bit of throttle it whistles really loud and it sounds like its comnig from the throttle body.. this used to happen on my stock Tb, So i was hoping it would stop when i got my aftermarket tb, but it hasnt it has only gotten louder any suggestions..

If I floor it, my car makes an odd sound. My friends say its sounds almost like a turbo, I have never heard it from the outside. My car also shifts at 6500 rpm if I floor it, so I know something is effed up.

I've been told that means something was effed up with my tranny, but I trust your word over the people who told me that. Couple people said it meant my tranny was on its way out. So, I guess I can stop putting money aside for a new tranny.

I have an aftermarket cai but this was doing this with the old tb I need to fix it because it really embarrasing it sounds like someone is blowing a whistle in the car... It sucks I know it can be fixed because its not supposed to do that..

Do you have an aftermarket intake or CAI on it? Mine does the same thing, only when i added the CAI??? Just figured it was doing it's job and sucking more air in I HOPE!!! lol
