I just bought an automatic2002 Dodge Neon SE.. Before I buy the car I take it to a garage to check it, the guy in there tell me that there was no sensor or computer errors and that everything was fine. SoI buy the car.

Now I'm very sad because when I stoped the car with the trasmission in drive 3 or 1, the car vibrates a lot, the RPMs went down from 1000 to 500. The car it has only 55 000 km. do you have any idea what this problem is???.. there are no code errors the check engine led is turned off, everything works fine except for this issue..

I hope i did a good buy []please help....

 

motor mounts are probably torn...
air filter could be dirty...
spark plugs may need to be re-gapped or replaced...

 

okay why are you driving it in drive 3 or drive 1 in teh first place instead of Drive?
