i seafoamed!!!!
Yeah you just suck it up the vac line into the manifold with the car running, shut it off for like 5 min. then start it, watch it smoke and your done!
Nharington, you didn't totally do it right...I would've let it sit in the system a little longer.
You let it go in through the PCV valve on the intake manifold side, it has a vaccum and sucks in the fluid. It's sort of like a controlled hydrolock, but not really.
Your car is going to studder and idle really ugly as though it wants to die. Some people let it die out by shoving the entire hose in the can and killing the engine, others turn it off. I poured the seafoam in a bowl and controlled the amount that went it. Then once enough went in I turned off the car.
THEN you let it sit for as long as you possibly can. I let it sit for about 30 minutes.
Turn on the car, drive like a madman and see all the smoke that comes out....
ta da!
I changed my spark plugs as they're most likely fouled, I don't give a **** what seafoam says. For $5 why would you NOT change them? Stupid as hell.
