I'd love to do a swap, if the body out lasts the motor. I have just an SRT-4 turbo kicking around, but noting else. I'd rather not turbo this motor that has 131,000 miles on it.

Y waste the money on a SRT swap whn you can find just as much and even more for the 2.0 mixing parts between a rs eclipse and what you can find for a neon! You can find a forged crank from and rs which will fit a 2.0 block seeing as how the upper and lower block from both gen neons and rs eclipse's r the same and the only thing that is truely different are the heads which cannot be port matched or anything but there r companies who do offer some serious mods for the 2nd gen2.0 sohc. So yeah no SRT swap just one bad *** 2.0 built and boosted!

Block is pretty much the same as the 95-02 blocks. There have been many neon builds using the 420a head which is good for re-locating the exhaust and turbo to the front. I'd love to post a link to a sweet build on the org using this set-up, but the dodge forum insecurities won't let me.

ah, here it is... you can figure it out: http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.ph...15&start=0 page 9 is where the fun starts.

I'm not doing it on this engine at least. I want to buy an srt to drive in the summer and keep my neon to roll with in the snow. But I probably won't pick up a srt for at least another year. Who knows really. I just know I won't be turbo'ing this car. I was going to, but I gave up on it.
